Supervision

Emma provides clinical supervision to mental health professionals as well as professionals working closely with children, teens and their families.  This includes psychologists, social workers, counsellors, school chaplains, educators and mental health workers.

Drawing upon her professional experience in clinical settings, schools, and private practice, Emma intends to provide supervisees a safe, supportive, and encouraging space in which to reflect and explore their practice.  Emma has a good sense of humour and works to create a non-judgemental space for her supervisees.

She takes an integrated approach to her work and supervision combining experience with CBT, MCBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, ACT, Narrative Therapy, Family Therapy, and Play Therapy.

Her formulation framework is via the lens of interpersonal neurobiology and she looks toward integrating the best of modern science with the healing art of psychotherapy.

Emma is also a qualified Yoga teacher and enjoys the appropriate incorporation of Mindfulness and Yoga within therapeutic practice.
